Bad Satan in my Bike

My bike was experiencing some issues during my last race with WSMC, 16 Jan 2005. Today, 23 Jan, I opened it up, preparing for a bottom-end rebuild tomorrow, and holy crud!!! It appears that a deranged Satan had moved into my cylinder at some point. Yikes!

Upon pulling the cylinder off, it looks like what may have caused all of the damage was the pin clip on one side popping out and getting in there some how. Thead and piston have the weirdest gouges/dents in them...never seen anything like this before. The cylinder has a few scratches in it too. Argh. I have a few more cylinders, but I don't think any of them are in great shape. I'll find out tomorrow...Quentin has got them and I'll see them when I go over there. Time to get some replating done.

Time to go pull my transmission out. Whee!

I think this looks ok though.
